It was movies from my childhood like 'Lost Horizon' and 'Jason and the Argonauts' as well as epics like 'Dr. Zhivago' and 'Ben-Hur' that had the import I was searching for. This film was a true joy to score and well worth the roughly 20 odd years I waited to do it."
