Beautifully painted MCM Chalkware Jesus has a green crown of thorns, wavy brown hair, forlorn expression. There are no makers marks. Paint is original. The original hanging loop is present on the back and it is ready to display.
Measures approximately 11" tall, 10" at widest point, and about 5" deep. Weight is nearly 5lbs.
Condition: several areas of paint loss or minor chips, please see photos. This is gorgeous as is, the wear is commensurate with age, use, and reflective of Chalkware material's delicate nature. It is structurally sound. A savvy artist could repair areas of paint loss if desired.
