This is a stunning sterling silver tufa cast pin or pendant by the talented Santo Domingo Pueblo artist Joel Pajarito, grandson of renowned jeweler Mary Lovato and son of acclaimed tufa cast artist Anthony Lovato. The piece showcases a powerful corn maiden motif, symbolizing nourishment and cultural continuity, with a dreamy turquoise cabochon set in the east-west direction at the center. Beautifully executed tribal and geometric designs are brought to life with expert stampwork, adding depth and dimension to the tufa texture. It can be worn as either a pin or a pendant, offering versatility with timeless Pueblo artistry. The back is signed Joel SDP 09.
